Chlorella Green Pancake


  • 1 tablespoon chickpea flour

  • 1 tablespoon oat flour or bran (can be substituted with another gluten-free flour)

  • 1 teaspoon chlorella

  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper or your preferred natural seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 50 ml water

  • Extra virgin olive oil for greasing


  1. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix.

  2. Add water and stir with a spoon until well combined.

  3. Grease a frying pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and heat for 1 minute.

  4. Pour the batter into the hot pan, shaping it into a disc, and cook over low heat.

  5. When you notice the edges of the batter drying and releasing from the pan, flip it using a spatula.

  6. Allow it to brown for an additional minute.

  7. Fill as desired; you can try our pink tofu recipe.

YIELD: 1 serving.
