  • 1 and a half cups of cooked, unseasoned black beans (drained)

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup finely rolled oats

  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons 100% cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1 dessert spoon of apple cider vinegar

  • 1 cup chopped or chopped dark chocolate

  1. Cook black beans with just water until they are soft. Once cold, drain the cooking water and wash well to leave only the grains.

  2. In a food processor, blend the beans with the sugar, oats, coconut oil, salt, vanilla extract and cocoa powder.

  3. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the baking soda and apple cider vinegar.

  4. Beat until incorporated

  5. Finally, add the chopped chocolate and mix with a spatula

  6. Pour the dough into a 25 x 15 cm pan, greased and sprinkled with cocoa powder.

  7. Bake the brownie in a preheated oven at 200 ˚C for 15 to 20 minutes

  8. Enjoy this healthy wonder!

TIP: as soon as a crust forms on top of the brownie and you insert a toothpick and it comes out a little damp, it's time to take it out of the oven. If the brownie stays there for too long, it will dry out - and that's not what we want.
